1926 Chevrolet Superior Series V news, pictures, information

By 1926, Chevrolet had begun to seriously challenge the dominance of the Ford Model T. The Chevrolet Superior Series was more mechanically sophisticated and buyers had a choice of a variety of colors.

After being used for promotional purposes for many years by a Michigan Chevrolet dealership, this car was placed in storage for 36 years, when it was acquired by the current owners. A complete restoration was completed in 2006.

The Superior Landau Sedan was Chevrolet's most expensive model in 1926. It is powered by a four-cylinder, 178 cubic-inch motor that develops 22 horsepower.
