      An evolution of the previous 5 CV, the type 190 S was unveiled at the 1928 Paris Motorshow. It was in reality in the 4 CV fiscal category, since its engine displacement was 695 cc and developing 14 hp. Considered as one of the most economical cars of its time, among other things it also had brakes fitted to all four wheels. The 5 CV took part several times in the Tour de France Automobile. In 1929, a female driver, Mme Leblanc, won her category. Available in a wide range of body types, 33,677 cars of this type were built up until 1931.
